Account Manager

We are looking to hire a Senior Communications Consultant for a full-time position.

Duties:

  • Work with internal team to on-board new clients
  • Work with domestic and international clients to create effective media outreach campaigns
  • Execute and oversee media pitching activities to include phone calls, emails and social media
  • Produce and/or supervise the production of press releases, blog posts and contributed articles
  • Develop project planning requirements such as timelines, workflow, etc.
  • Oversee project staff as needed
  • Manage assigned client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Communications or PR (Journalism acceptable with the right experience)
  • Min. of 7 years experience working in communications consulting or an in house communications position (at least 2 years in B2B tech)
  • Must be able to manage multiple client engagements and oversee staff to ensure client requirements are met
  • Solid knowledge of current media relations, content marketing and digital marketing strategic and tactical best practices
  • Ability to brainstorm with internal team members and clients to create compelling media pitches
  • Strong email and phone skills to pitch journalists
  • Proficient copywriter to create press releases, blog posts and contributed articles
  • Must be comfortable working with non-native English speakers for our international clients
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and understand how to prioritize activities to accomplish agency goals
  • Must be professional in appearance and able to give client-facing presentations
  • Able to assist Partners with marketing and light sales tasks including blogging, sales presentations, lead gen campaigns, etc.
  • Ability to manage client budgets and keep team on task
  • Must be able to work remotely or in office as needed
  • Proficiency in Office & Google apps, maintain WordPress apps

Account Coordinator

Duties:

  • Work with internal team to on-board new clients
  • Work with domestic and international clients to create effective media outreach campaigns
  • Execute media pitching activities to include phone calls, emails and social media, as well as secure speaking opportunities
  • Write press releases, blog posts and contributed articles
  • Industry and media research, maintain media database
  • Assist the Partners with marketing efforts (company blog, PR over Coffee, white papers and others)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Communications or PR (Journalism acceptable with the right experience)
  • Min. of 3 years experience working in communications consulting or an in house communications position (at least one year in B2B tech)
  • Solid knowledge of current media relations, content marketing and digital marketing strategic and tactical best practices
  • Ability to brainstorm with internal team members and clients to create compelling media pitches
  • Strong email and phone skills to pitch journalists
  • Proficient copywriter to create press releases, blog posts and contributed articles
  • Good basic understanding of media relations, content marketing and digital marketing
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and understand how to prioritize activities to accomplish agency goals
  • Must be professional in appearance and attend client-facing presentation
  • Ability to work on deadlines and manage time against client budgets
  • Must be able to work remotely or in office as needed
  • Proficiency in Office & Google apps, maintaining WordPress sites
